Jacob has extensive experience working on a wide range of residential and commercial projects during his career. This are primarily located in the south-east and eastern regions of England. Examples include the following:​​​

West Northamptonshire Council, Northamptonshire

Strategic promotion of a five acre, greenfield, edge of village site on behalf of a family trust. Managing the planning strategy and execution through application and appeal. Negotiation of substantial S106 savings. Sale to a regional housing association (32 houses).

 

Thanet District Council, Kent

Strategic promotion of a six acre, village infill site on behalf of a farming family. Leading the planning strategy through application and appeal. Subsequent sale to a developer. (49 houses).

 

Colchester Borough Council, Essex

Strategic promotion of a three acre, draft allocated, edge of town site and sale to a regional developer (26 houses).

 

Braintree District Council, Essex

Strategic promotion of an eleven acre field on behalf of a golf-club. Managing planning strategy, application and appeal. (50 houses).

Buckinghamshire Council, Buckinghamshire

Strategic promotion of a six acre, greenfield, edge of village site on behalf of a farming family. Leading the planning strategy to take advantage of a local plan and land supply opportunity, avoiding an appeal (40 houses).

South Cambridgeshire District Council, Cambridgeshire

Advising a landowner on the promotion of a 2 acre, edge of settlement site, on the planning strategy and appeal following a failed planning application. 

Basildon Borough Council, Essex

Promotion of a six-acre, edge of town, "grey belt" site for 60 key-worker housing. Negotiation of sale to national housing association.

Tendring District Council, Essex

Promotion of a five-acre, edge of town site to achieve an allocation in the local plan. Subsequent successful planning application (40 houses).

 

Sevenoaks District Counci, Kent

Promotion of a five-acre, edge of village, "grey belt" site on behalf of a local farming family (50 houses). ​​
