Most landowners only have one opportunity to structure a development deal properly. These agreements are typically entered into before a planning consent is secured and are difficult to change once signed. The structure of the development agreement will determine the majority of the land’s eventual value. It is of fundamental importance to get this right.

Our role is to advise you before you commit to a strategy or agreement.​ We act solely for our landowner clients, we do not promote or acquire land ourselves and we do not represent developers or housebuilders. 

 

​We work alongside landowners to:

• assess the realistic development potential of your land 

• identify where value may be lost in proposed agreements

• compare option, promotion and hybrid structures to maximise value and retain control

• review and negotiate terms with developers or promoters to protect your position 

• guide land through the promotion process to eventual sale

 

Our role is to ensure that decisions are made with a full understanding of both value and risk.
